About Us

Strong Roots

Our grandfathers understood the value of hard work. It was never easy to make a life in the mountains, but they did it - and they built everything themselves. Homes, barns, farms, fences, roads, bridges. In their youth and beyond their prime, Appalachian tradesmen have shaped their communities with humble hands and a strong work ethic. We feel a deep connection to our roots, and we want to carry on the same traditions of hard work and craftsmanship.

A Message From the Owner

Although C&W Contracting became a legal entity in 2016, the roots of C&W go back to 2002. My stepfather founded the company as a landscaping service in order to build a legacy for his two sons, Cody Carpenter and Will Waldroup. Cody and Will, Carpenter and Waldroup. C&W.

Over the past 20 years, C&W has grown from a landscaping service to a full-service construction company. We worked as teenagers in high school, young men in college, and finally as sons and fathers in our own right. I am proud to continue the C&W legacy and share in that responsibility with my exceptional team of craftsmen.
